Brevard College in Brevard, NC, Features Exhibit by Area High School Students
Original works of art by area high school juniors and seniors are being presented in the Mezzanine Gallery in the Sims Art Center at Brevard College in Brevard, NC, for its annual Juried High School Art Competition, on view through Apr. 13, 2007. Winners of the competition will be eligible for cash and scholarship awards.
The jurors will be members of the college's Art Department faculty.
The first place winner will receive a $500 Brevard College General Scholarship, a $1,000 Brevard College Art Award Scholarship and $75 cash. The second place winner will receive a $500 Brevard College Art Award Scholarship and $50 cash. The third place winner will receive a $500 Brevard College Art Award Scholarship and $25 cash.
Brevard College offers more than 40 majors and minors from fine and performing arts to business, teacher licensure, environmental studies, and wilderness leadership and experiential education.
