Tryon Painters and Sculptors Host an Exhibit by Two Sister Artists in Tryon, NC

Through May 22, Tryon Painters and Sculptors will host an exhibit entitled, Sibling Harmony VI, by pastel artists Eula La Croix and Irma Webb at the Tryon Fine Arts Center in Tryon, NC.

The artists are sisters, born and raised in Kentucky. Eula La Croix of Hendersonville, NC, studied at Nazareth College in Kentucky, and at the Art Academy of Cincinnati, and through work-shops and private classes. She has displayed in many exhibitions and shows throughout the country, winning many awards. She was a finalists in "The American Artist Magazine Landscape Painting Competition"; her work being chosen from a field of over 5,000 entries.

Irma Pfannmoller Webb, of Kingsport, TN, studied at the University of Louisville and the Art Academy of Cincinnati. She gained experience as a designer for a greeting card company and as a newspaper advertising artist in Louisville. She specializes in portraits, but does other subjects as well. She has exhibited nationwide, winning numerous awards. She has been elected to full membership in the Pastel Society of America.
