Columbia Museum of Art in Columbia, SC, Holds Public Forum
The Columbia Museum of Art, in cooperation with the South Carolina Arts Commission and the Cultural Council of Richland & Lexington Counties, invites the public to participate in an open forum on May 15, at 5pm in the museum's Lorick Auditorium. The museum is located at the corner of Main and Hampton Streets in downtown Columbia, SC.
The purpose of the forum is to solicit ideas about how visual arts advocates and communities of South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia can develop stronger partnering relationships with visual arts institutions. The goal of the forum is to increase participation in the visual arts and to stimulate relationship building between artists, visual arts presenters and the general public.
