Associated Artists of Winston-Salem, NC, Features National Juried Exhibition
Associated Artists of Winston-Salem, NC, is pleased to announce the exhibition Dimensions 2003, a National Juried Fine Art Competition and Show, which will be on display through May 24, 2003.
This annual exhibition, now in its 38th year, showcases outstanding visual art in two- and three- dimensions. The exhibit will feature 93 works by 83 artists from 19 states, Stephen Phillips, Curator from the Phillips Collection, Washington, DC, selected the work from 864 slides submitted by artists from across the country.
Associated Artists of Winston-Salem is a non-profit organization of more than 600 members created over 45 years ago by a group of local artists who wanted to exhibit their work in the community. Supported by membership dues and individual donations, AAWS also receives operating assistance from the Arts Council of Winston-Salem / Forsyth County. Through its programs and exhibitions, AAWS encourages the creative talent of artists, from novice to professional.
