Touchstone Gallery in Hendersonville, NC, Continues Anniversary Celebration

In Hendersonville, NC, inspired by the colorful emergence of Spring and the ongoing celebration of Touchstone Gallery's 20th Anniversary, many of the gallery's longtime artists have recently delivered new works for display.

Mark Strom, an Asheville, NC, based sculptor, offers Promise a recently completed wood figurative pedestal sized sculpture.

New paintings include seven acrylic on canvas works by Ernie Howard (Asheville), five acrylic on wood panel landscapes by Henry Mitchell (Greenville, SC) and a vibrant collection of Barbara Timmerman's abstract works on paper.

In addition, Touchstone is pleased to welcome Sharron Frye to the gallery roster. Two of Frye's signature feline works grace the courtyard display window while two works on canvas are displayed elsewhere in the gallery.

Touchstone anticipates the arrival later this month of new works from Chase Brock (Hendersonville native now residing in New York City), Maxine Linney (Hendersonville) and Julia Masaoka (Asheville).

Marilyn MacEwen of the Inner Realm Studio offers the recently completed "Lava" cabinet as well as a pair of her signature "Luna" one-drawer stands.

And, as a final confirmation of the arrival of Spring... the newest collection of UNICEF Spring/Summer 2003 cards are now on hand.
