Tryon Fine Arts Center in Tryon, NC, Features Works by Robert Langford
Tryon Painters and Sculptors will host an exhibit of acrylic paintings entitled, Defined Gravity, by Robert Langford at the Tryon Fine Arts Center in Tryon, NC, on view through May 15, 2003.
Langford is a self-taught artist drawing upon the journey of everyday living as his inspiration. Each painting is influenced from various emotional stages. Painted as though chapters in a book, occasionally all or a portion of the layers of paint will be removed in the final work to review a glimpse of the emotional evolution.
A native of Texas, Langford has resided in North Carolina for the last seven years. His paintings have been exhibited in Dallas, Atlanta, and Charlotte.
