The Wolf Gallery in Charleston, SC, Offers Exhibit of European Sculpture
The Wolf Gallery in Charleston, SC, will present the exhibition, Fine Art in Bronze, An Exhibition of Contemporary European Sculpture, from May 30 through June 15, 2003. The exhibition will feature works by Eduardo Aragoneses and the six other artists of Italica, one of Europe's largest foundries.
The works being offered represent the very highest quality limited edition bronze work, handcrafted by internationally known European sculptors. The individually cast editions, executed by skilled Barcelonan craftsman, trained in, and observing the highest European Standard, use the finest available quality Mediterranean marble and bronze.
Featured works for the exhibition are primarily contemporary figurative and classical equestrian pieces. Editions are small with 25 to 50 pieces available world-wide.
Italica, perhaps the largest foundry in Europe, located in Barcelona Spain has recently started exporting to the United States. Sculptural works from Italica have established representation in Paris, Barcelona, and New York. The Wolf Gallery is proud to present their first public exhibition in Charleston.
