Joie Lassiter Gallery in Charlotte, NC, Offers Works by Eric Anderson
The Joie Lassiter Gallery in Charlotte, NC, is presenting the exhibit, Quiver, featuring works by Eric Anderson. The exhibit, held on the eleventh floor gallery of the Odell Building, will be on view from May 6 - 31, 2005.
Anderson, Professor Emeritus,
received his MFA from Pratt and has shown at numerous prestigious
locations throughout the SouthEast. His work is devoted to the
theories and practices of Constructivism. His work speaks directly
to the architecture of space, time, and movement and achieves
Anderson's objective "to hold the illusionary plane
through color and texture while expanding the physical experience
of form as an existing reality in space."
Anderson's constructs masterfully incorporate diverse materials
graphite, rubber, paint, wood and metal creating delicate
yet solid forms that play with the light and are alive with color
and movement.
