Art Institute of Charlotte in Charlotte, NC, Features Works by Sue Johnson
The exhibit, 10 Years, features a compilation of traditional and digital photography by Sue Johnson, a professional photographer and instructor at The Art Institute of Charlotte. The exhibition will be featured from May 7 to June 30, 2007, in the Elizabeth M. Guinan Gallery in Charlotte, NC.
Johnson teaches English composition, effective speaking, and photography at The Art Institute of Charlotte, while locally exhibiting her digital photographic artwork.
Johnson, who holds a Master's in Liberal Studies from UNC Charlotte and a BFA in Photo-Journalism from Empire State College/State University of New York, has worked as a freelance photographer and writer for various newspapers in the New York Metropolitan area, including the Gannett Newspapers, and for the Charlotte Post, The Observer and The Independent Tribune.
Johnson spent more than two years as a digital
photographer with the Richard Petty Driving Experience and recently
added wedding photography to her repertoire. She also has done
theatre photography at The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington,
DC.
