Piccolo Spoleto Outdoor Juried Show Offers Free Demonstrations
The 2007 Piccolo Spoleto Outdoor Juried Art Exhibition held in Marion Square, at the intersections of King, Meeting and Calhoun Streets in Charleston, SC, from May 25 through June 9, 2007, will offer art demonstrations on a daily basis beginning May 27.
A schedule of award-winning South Carolina artists who are displaying their works at Marion Square will offer free demonstrations each day - sometimes twice.
The outdoor exhibition is coordinated by Billie Sumner and Victoria Platt Ellis.
The demonstration schedule includes:
May 27, at 1pm - Steven Jordan (watercolor); May 28, at 11am -
Laurie Meyer (oils) and at 2:30pm - Guy Stevens (watercolor);
May 29 at 11am - J. Carol Gardner (collage/mixed media) and at
2:30pm - Scott Henderson (digital photo hand coloring); May 30
at 11am - Amelia Rose Smith (watercolor) and at 2:30pm - Melinda
Lewin (oils); May 31 at 11am - Carolyn Epperly (watermedia/line)
and at 2:30pm - Rick Dean (photography); June 1 at 11am -Katherine
DuTremble (plein air oil) and at 2:30pm - Alice Stewart Grimsley
(watercolor); June 2 at 11am - Detta Cutting Zimmerman (oil) and
at 2:30pm - Susan Mayfield (pastel); June 3 at 11pm - John Jones
(acrylic) and at 2:30pm - Kevin LePrince (oil); June 4 at 11am
- Rick Reinert (plein air oil) and at 2:30pm -Richard Johnson
(acrylic); June 5 at 11am - Peggy Howe (oil on paper) and at 2:30pm
- Ron Rocz (photography); June 6 at 11am - Bette Bentley-Layne
(acrylic) and at 2:30pm - Sherry Browne (papercuts); June 7 at
11am - Hilary Lambert (oils) and at 2:30pm - Lynne Hardwick (mixed
media); and June 8 at 11am - Amelia Whaley (watercolor).
