Wilkes Art Gallery in North Wilkesboro, NC, Continues Student Art Exhibits
The Wilkes Art Gallery in North Wilkesboro, NC, is hosting four months of youth art exhibits at the Gallery. Through May 19, 2007, works by students from East Wilkes High School, East Wilkes Middle School, Roaring River Elementary School, and Ronda-Clingman Elementary School will be on display.
The students from East Wilkes High School,
taught by Preston Roberts, who will have their artwork exhibited,
are as follows:

For over thirty years, the Wilkes Art Gallery has celebrated youth art during the month of March, the nationally recognized Youth Art Month. The Gallery's expanded space in downtown North Wilkesboro, offers expanded opportunity to exhibit student work. The work from Wilkes County School students will be exhibited for four months. Each district will have work exhibited for one month.
The Wilkes Art Gallery is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to providing quality educational experiences through exhibitions, classes, workshops and field trips for all ages. WAG promotes art as a necessary and enriching component of a well-rounded life.
