Presents Carolina Folk Art Festival
The fourth annual Carolina Folk Art Festival, presented by Maddi's Gallery is attracting artists from across the south for this year's two-day event. It will be held May 17 and 18, 2008, on The Green in Birkdale Village in Huntersville, NC. Many well-known folk artists from the Carolinas, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Kentucky will participate in the event which will run from 10am until 6pm on May 17 and from 11am until 6pm on May 18.
More than thirty-five folk artists will display and offer works for sale in a wide variety of media, including: fiber, painting, wood carving and wood sculpture, jewelry, pottery, metal work, basketry and gourd art.
