Hemlocks Studio in Cedar Mountain, NC, Opens Summer Schedule of Workshops
Hemlocks Studio is nestled in a peaceful mountain forest in Cedar Mountain, NC. Innovative summer art workshops are offered in a casual atmosphere of quiet concentration and natural mountain beauty. Located between Greenville, SC, and Brevard, NC, Hemlocks provides a magical environment for learning about art and the art of living.
Students sketch among towering hemlocks, paint in the treetop studio, then gather on the porch of the main house in late afternoon to relax and reflect on the day's work. A course at Hemlocks is an intense working experience, but one that is relaxed, intimate and filled with energy. Small classes of 12 students are held in the studio, lunch is served in the homestead and hospitality is the standard.
Classes are for students of all levels, from complete novice to experienced artists, all taught by qualified, caring instructors.
