Silver Fox Gallery in Tryon, NC, Features Works by Patricia Cole-Ferullo & Sharon Tesche

The Silver Fox Gallery in Tryon, NC, is presenting the exhibition, Natural Diversity, featuring works by two of their resident artists, Patricia Cole-Ferullo and Sharon Tesche. The exhibit will be on view through July 24, 2003.

Patricia Cole-Ferullo of Tryon is a painter who begins her creative process "by going inward to evoke a sense of the mysterious connection between all things, both seen and, especially, unseen." She exhibits nationally and is a signature member of the Society of Layerists in Multimedia and The International Society of Experimental Artists.

Sharon Tesche of Saluda, NC, is showing her hand-built slab constructed forms in clay which are inspired by nature and "vertical forms and structures, in particular ancient buildings and monuments." Her work often develops from shapes seen in her travels to Italy, Istanbul, or Mayan ruins. Escaping from the corporate world of advertising, Tesche pursued her artistic instincts by studying clay with noted raku artists, Harvey Sadow and Penny Truitt. She has exhibited her work both in the Southeast and Southwest.
