Artful Living in Hickory, NC, Features Works by Eva Crawford
Artful Living in Hickory, NC, will present an exhibit of works by watercolorist Eva Crawford, on view from June 1 - 30, 2006.
Crawford is a native North Carolinian who grew up in Charlotte. She earned her BFA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in painting and printmaking. Crawford worked for 10 years in the furniture industry as a designer and illustrator. She has been a freelance artist and is currently teaching high school art at Charlotte Christian School. Crawford enjoys all types of media but concentrates on oil and watercolor for creating compositions that portray a sense of familiarity, nostalgia and realism.
