Asheville Gallery of Art in Asheville, NC, Features Works by Judy Rentner
Asheville Gallery of Art in Asheville, NC, is presenting an exhibit of works by Judy Rentner of Clyde, NC, through June 30, 2006.
Rentner paints mostly from nature, inspired by the interplay of light and dark patterns that make even the mundane magical. As an artist, she likes to capture the magical designs and patterns in various mediums, including oils, watercolor and acrylics.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ohio University, Rentner continued her pursuit of art by working as an interior designer in Washington, DC, then teaching art in the California public school system, and attending workshops by nationally known artists. She has been juried into many shows, including the Gold Coast Watercolor Society in Florida, the Watercolor Society of North Carolina, and the Blue Ridge Watermedia Society.
