b.brown gallery in Matthews, NC, Presents a Group Exhibition of 12
b.brown gallery in Matthews, NC, is presenting an exhibition of works by twelve of its artists who were selected to participate in HomeArama 2006, taking place in Charlotte, NC. The exhibit at the gallery will be on view through June 23, 2006, and includes works by Renee Bolmeijer, Kevin Brown, Ricky Chou, bonnie brown fergus, Cynthia Howard, Pat Mahon, Frieda Morris, Shane, Prudy Weaver, Sandy Wilkinson, Jo Williams, and Connie Winters.
The twelve artists were selected to place artworks in three of the six custom built homes on tour at "the Sanctuary" during Charlotte's HomeArama 2006, on view through June 11, 2006. More than forty pieces include originals and museum quality limited edition prints (giclees).

Each artist was selected for her/his diverse style: Renee Bolmeijer
works in watercolors, offering illustrations with decorative patterned
backgrounds. Kevin Brown works in acrylics and pastels, offering
images of North Carolina landscapes. Ricky Chou works in watercolors
on rice paper and studied under LingNan Master Li Ching Yuen.
bonnie brown fergus, owner of b.brown gallery, offers works in
watersoluble oils with contemporary persuasions. Cynthia Howard
works in watersoluble oils, offering romantic impressions of landscapes
and seascapes.
Pat Mahon works in oils, offering big scale outdoor scenes. Frieda
Morris works with watersoluble oils, creating imaginative wildlifes
and still lifes. Shane offers contemporary forms of impressionism
in oil. Prudy Weaver, working in watercolors and oils, offers
realism which zooms in on architectural details. Sandy Wilkinson
uses watersoluble oils to create whimsical wildlife scenes. Jo
Williams uses tissue oils and offers abstracts with an Eastern
influence. Connie Winters offer classic French Impressionist works
in oil.
