Upstate Visual Arts in Greenville, SC, Features Works by Grace Scherer and Jonathon Eoute
Upstate Visual Arts in Greenville, SC, will present an exhibition of works by Grace Scherer and Jonathon Eoute, at the UVA Art Gallery from June 1 - 22, 2007.
Jonathan Eoute
Grace Scherer
Scherer, a watercolor artist, states "every painting expresses to the viewer the personal feeling of the artist toward the subject. Like a signature, this expression is made individual by the use of line, shapes, strokes and color. The possibilities are limitless." Scherer will feature over 60 original watercolors in this show. Eoute describes his clay works as "a combination of wheel thrown and hand built pieces: a study in line and texture primarily influenced by Western forms."
The exhibiting artists' work can be viewed in galleries and juried exhibitions throughout the region. UVA is proud to be featuring artists with such acclaim. Each of the artists participating in this exhibit is a member of Upstate Visual Arts, Greenville's only non-profit organization dedicated solely to the visual arts. Most of the works on display are for sale.
