June Issue 2008
Red Clover Gallery in Landrum, SC,
Features Works by Anne and William Jameson
The Red Clover Gallery is thrilled to have
Anne and William Jameson exhibiting once again! The Saluda, NC,
couple will be showing paintings from their expansive travels. Both
artists paint from the landscapes and architecture of areas they
have recently visited, including the Carolinas, Colonial Mexico
and Europe. The exhibit will be on view through June 18, 2008.
Collectors of the Jameson's work are encouraged to view their
recent pieces, as the demand for their work is growing. The
Jamesons have a reputation for bold, yet traditional work mastering
the use of color in a way that only nature can provide!
William captures both local and foreign landscapes making the
most of the way light plays as it peeks through nature's various
corners. He creates a sky that blankets some of America and
Europe's most tranquil sceneries, or as he likes to call them,
"explorations." His paintings give onlookers permission
to escape into a classic fantasy-like world.
Anne's work exhibits her love for architecture and the daily activities
of charming towns and villages dotting landscapes of Italy, France,
and Mexico. Graphic design elements as well as color fascinate
the artist and contribute to her fantastic display of drama and
mystery brought on by the scenery's lights and shadows.
Neither William or Anne are timid with their use of color and
their careful compositions mark the couple as timeless artists. Those
who share their love of traveling will certainly identify with
the way they capture introspective landscapes, embodying nature's
most intriguing color combinations.
