The Karpeles Manuscript Museum Features Works by Robin Sasser
The Karpeles Manuscript Museum in Charleston, SC, announces a contemporary photography art exhibit entitled New Works by Robin Sasser. The works on exhibit through July 24, are a collection of hand painted photographs of Southern landscapes and Southern people.
An American artist living in Canada, Sasser grew up near the woods and rivers in South Carolina. She understands the South and her hand painted photographs evoke a magical sense of times past and present. She studied Art at Universities in Quebec, Canada, and in Strasbourg, France. Sasser exhibits in Canada and at the Horry Cultural Arts Council in Conway, SC, and at the Prince George Gallery in Georgetown, SC.
