Caldwell Arts Council in Lenoir, NC, Offers Porch Sale of Original Art on July 23 & 24
The Caldwell Arts Council in Lenoir, NC, is having a "Porch Sale" of original art on July 23, 2004, from 6-9pm and July 24, 2004, from 8am to 1pm.
What do artists do with all of their sketches, older works and unsold art. First, they store it in their studios and then when that gets full they look for a place to sell it. The "Porch Sale" is that place. Many of the areas best artists are gathering for the first "Porch Sale" and their work will be priced to sell. No one wants to take this studio filler back home! This is your chance to get a great deal on original art!
Friday, July 23, 2004, is the Preview Party. For $10 per person you can get a sneak preview of the works and get to buy first. Everyone is invited! You will get a wine and cheese party as well. Saturday, the doors open to the public. Come one, come all! You end up with art, the artists get some space in their studio, and the Caldwell Arts Council gets some much needed income! It's a winner for everyone!
Area artists who would like to participate, please contact the Caldwell Arts Council and we will give you the details. The artists will receive 50% of all sales.
