Moring Arts Center in Asheboro, NC, Features Works by Martine House
Internationally known quilter Martine House will present an exhibit entitled, Images Of My Soul, in the Main Gallery of the Moring Arts Center in Asheboro, NC, from July 6-30, 2004.
The exhibit will consist of approximately twenty-five
wall pieces on varied themes and using a wide variety of techniques.
House was born and educated in France. She moved to the United
States in 1983 and immediately began quilting. After learning
and mastering the basics, House began designing and teaching.
Presently she teaches for quilt guilds and quilt-related groups
in her region.
House teaches at the J. C. Campbell Folk Art School in Brasstown, NC, and periodically gives workshops in France.
