Artizom Offers Photography Exhibition in Charleston, SC
Artizom: A Frame Gallery located in the Ansonborough Plaza in downtown Charleston, SC, is offering a rare exhibition of fine art photography. In an effort to introduce more photography into the Charleston art scene, Artizom is proud to be coordinating a group photography exhibition entitled, Open Shutter: An Exhibit of Fine Photography. The show, and the debut of the gallery's website, located at (http://www.artizom.com), which will feature fine photography and framing kicks off on Aug. 25. The exhibition will continue through Oct. 25, 2000.
"Our intent is to introduce the community to an incredible collection of photographs, from established to emerging artists working around the country and locally, representing a variety of styles and techniques," says John Duckworth, one of the owners of Artizom.
Open Shutter: An Exhibit of Fine Photography will include works by: Heather Liebler, Mark Permar, Tripp Smith, Lyle Allen, Michelle Van Parys, Graig Huber, Todd Byrns, Luke Platt, John Dunn, John Moore, Craig Donofrio, John Duckworth and (the artist known as) Larkin. Each artists will have two to three photographs in the exhibition.
