Her work is found in corporate collections such as Nations Bank, BB&T, Winthrop University Hospital, Sloan Kettering Hospital and Laurence Rockefeller.
Ginny Lassiter, of Sunset River Marketplace said, in a telephone interview, "The gallery is very pleased to be featuring Barbara this month. She has quite a following of collectors who will be thrilled to see her newest works in one exhibit."
Sunset River Marketplace opened its doors during the summer of 2002. Since then, the 10,000 square-foot gallery representing over 200 North and South Carolina artists has evolved into an art center for the community. The gallery includes a classroom for workshops and art classes for both adults and children, professional and amateur. There are also two on-site kilns and a full-service framing center. Gallery owners Joe and Ginny Lassiter regularly support the community's nonprofit and charitable events. Sunset River Marketplace will again be hosting the 2nd Annual Evening of Miniature Masterpieces fundraiser for the Brunswick Arts Council on Nov. 19, 2005, of this year.
