Charleston Artist Guild in Charleston, SC, Offers Group Exhibition by Members
The Charleston Artist
Guild in Charleston, SC, will present the exhibit, August Affairs,
featuring paintings relating to the affairs of August at the Guild
Gallery from Aug. 1 - 31, 2006. The featured artist include: Teri
Bastian, Jennifer Black, Judith Chamberlin, Gayle Gilford, Lynda
Karl, Cisco Lindsey, Ann Marie McKay, Gale Roland, Mary Sayas,
Missie Stevenson, Anne Thames, and Tony Young.
The artist were asked to interpret the theme August Affairs
anyway they like; relationships, events, associations, interactions,
as long as their subject matter is connected with the eighth month
of the year. Come see how our local artists express their
personal affairs of August.
The Gallery was established by the Charleston Artist Guild in 2003. Gallery sale proceeds benefit the extensive youth and adult programs of the non-profit Charleston Artist Guild.
