Elder Gallery in Charlotte, NC, Features Abstract Exhibition
Elder Gallery in Charlotte, NC, will present the exhibition, A World of Abstraction, a group show on view from Aug. 3 through Sept. 1, 2007.
Javier Lopez Barbosa
The world is filled with abstract qualities which are overlooked by most people. During the month of August Elder Gallery will present an exhibition which explores the nature of abstract paintings as created by noted abstract painters from different regions of the nation.
John Palmer
Featured in the exhibit will works by Javier Lopez Barbosa from Santa Fe, NM; Frank Patt of San Francisco, CA; Werner Haker from Brevard, NC; and New York artists Carl Plansky, Jimmie James and Ralph Turturro. Houston, TX, artist John Palmer will also participate with new works from his studio.
On Aug. 3, 2007, beginning at 11am, artist Werner Haker will present an informal gallery talk to discuss his latest work in the exhibition. Reservations can be made by calling the gallery.
