Features Works by Members of A.R.T.
The Gallery at DuPRE in Columbia, SC, will be featuring an exhibit of works by members of the Artists Round Table (A.R.T.) through Aug. 21, 2008. This exhibit is the first in a series at the Gallery at DuPRE showcasing the diversity of the A.R.T. members.
The exhibition on view includes works by Sam Compton, Keith Tolen, Jeff Weese, Sandra Carr, Ellin Baskins, Jamie Blackburn, Roger Reed, J.J. Casey, Mercy Clonts, Elsie Fogle and Becky Age.
Established in 2006, the Artists Round Table is a non-profit, grassroots resource for all artists in South Carolina including visual, performing, and spoken word artists. The organization's goal is to provide leadership, funding, and business expertise to artists and to connect them with arts organizations and businesses by offering a single resource of arts related information to patrons and the media. A.R.T. contributes to the economic development and quality of life in South Carolina by promoting the arts as the foundation of the knowledge-based economy.
