Hodges Taylor Gallery in Charlotte, NC, is pleased to feature work from selected photographers for the summer exhibition on view through Aug. 29, 2008.
The multi-faceted exhibition will include images ranging from the "home-town" Charlotte cityscape, through the deep-south and around the globe; from serene landscapes and evocative portraits to haunting reflections of societies past and present. Some are delicate and deliberate; others capture only a fleeting moment - all reflect the use of a camera to freeze forever the relationship between the artist's vision and a moment in time.
Photographers included in this exhibition are Carl Bergman, Sonia Handelman Meyer, Alice Sebrell, Elizabeth Matheson, Carolyn DeMeritt, Byron Baldwin, Keith Carter, Deborah Luster, Frank Hunter, Tim Buchman, David Halliday, Benjamin Porter, John Rosenthal, and Linda Foard Roberts.
