Artspace in Raleigh, NC, Features Work by Martin Bland
Artspace in Raleigh, NC, is featuring an exhibition entitled, polysemia, by Martin Bland in the center's upstairs Gallery 2 through Oct. 7, 2000. The exhibit will include works in epoxy, liquid crystal, and/or oil on wood.
Bland was born in England. He earned his BFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Greensboro, NC, in 1999, and is currently studying at Hunter College in New York City. He has been exhibiting his work consistently since 1993, throughout North Carolina and New York.
Bland has had work included in exhibitions at The Green Hill Center for NC Art and the Weatherspoon Art Gallery at UNC-Greensboro, both in Greensboro and the Associated Artists Gallery in Winston-Salem, NC.
Bland's award winning work is included in private collections, including that of Senator and Mrs. John Edwards, Washington, DC.
The exhibits in Gallery 2 at Artspace feature works by emerging artists.
