Benedict College in Columbia, SC, Begins Exhibition Season with Annual Faculty Exhibition
Benedict College in Columbia, SC, has opened
its exhibition season at the Ponder Fine Arts Gallery with the
Annual Faculty Exhibition, which will continue on view through
Sept. 21, 2001.
The Exhibition will feature the recent art of Gina Moore (painter,
printer and graphic artist), John Wright (computer graphics),
Michael Hale (sculptor), Susan Dugan (photographer), Napoleon
Jones-Henderson (printmaker), and Tyrone Geter (painter).
This year will mark the first traveling exhibition by the department. The Benedict College Annual Faculty Exhibition will be displayed at the following sites: Oct. 7 - Nov. 7, 2001, at Florida A&M University; Jan. 13 - Feb. 23, 2002, at the Franklin G. Burroughs -Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum, Myrtle Beach, SC; Apr. 21 - May 31, 2002, at the Sumter Opera House Gallery, Sumter, SC; and from Jun. 7 - Aug. 2, 2002, at the Lucy Laney Museum, Augusta, GA.
This tour promises to be a major event for the Benedict art department and the college.
