Rutledge Street Gallery in Camden, SC, Celebrates First Anniversary

Rutledge Street Gallery in Camden, SC, will have extended hours on Oct. 4, 5 & 6 from 11am-9pm to celebrate its first anniversary. Featured are the oil paintings of Bob Ransley. Gallery manager Monica Laschanzky invites everyone "to come by, have refreshments and enjoy a cool fall evening during the exciting Blues Festival in Camden. Laschanzky added, "Bob Ransley is an oil painter who specializes in large scale paintings with luminous colors that embody great energy and vitality."

November in Camden is a month celebrating Thanksgiving and the Colonial Cup, a premier steeplechase event. This yearly affair brings in horses and patrons from around the world to race and enjoy the week and Rutledge Street Gallery will feature Paintings from Provence by William McCullough and Tony Griffin. On Friday Nov. 16, also the evening of the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County's Bluejeans, Bluegrass and BBQ, the gallery will have a complimentary reception for the artists from 5-9pm. Maci Catalano Scheuer, founder of Rutledge Street Gallery, "encourages everyone to go to both events and enjoy a full evening in Camden. The FAC event has become a tradition during the Cup. For information on both events call the Center at 803/425-7676. Our reception is complimentary, with a gallery talk at 6:15pm. Both events are within walking distance and should compliment each other."

Rutledge Street Gallery features contemporary fine art including paintings, glass, sculpture, photography, and pottery.
