September Issue 2001
Tiemaker's Gallery in Charleston, SC, Features Photographs of David Edwards
Tiemaker's Gallery in Charleston, SC, presents new fine art photography with David Edwards' Tug Boat Series, opening Sept. 21 and continuing through Oct. 31, 2001.
Edwards' photographs capture the beauty of the Charleston Harbor and the power of the tugs through black and white photography. Edwards spent time on the tugs with the crews at McAllister Towing Company, and the result is a photographic documentary of the life and work on the tugs, from the perspective of the men working on them. Limited edition black and white silver prints will be available.
The gallery will also be featuring new works
by Matt Overend, Dorothy Doubleday, and Emily Jenkins.
