The Charleston Artist Guild Celebrates Opening of Gallery in Charleston, SC
The Charleston Artist Guild will host a grand opening of its new Gallery & Office space on Sept. 19, 2003, from 6:30-8:30pm. The gallery is located at 6 North Atlantic Wharf, just off East Bay Street, in the French Quarter District, of Charleston, SC.
This exhibit will feature works by 60 plus exhibiting members who display a wealth of talent in different media including oils, watercolor, printmaking, & sculpture.
The Charleston Artist Guild was established in Oct. of 1953. The members share their love of visual fine art with the community through service projects, exhibits, and many programs. The Artist Guild meets monthly from Sept. through May at the Gibbes Museum of Art on the 3rd Tue. of the month at 6:30pm.
Gallery hours will be Mon.-Sat., 10am-5pm. Anyone interested in joining the Guild is encouraged to contact our office or visiting one of our monthly meetings.
