UNC-Charlotte in Charlotte, NC, Features Works by Anna Judy
Photographs by Anna Judy titled Paisano will be on exhibition at the University of North Carolina Charlotte, Cone Center Main Gallery through Sept. 28, 2003. This exhibition is part of the University of North Carolina Charlotte International Festival Month.
Paisano is an observation of a few of the many faces and activities that form the Mexican community across the United States. Charras (horsemen) in Texas, vacationers returning with their Americano children to the home country, migrant workers in Maine, and visitors to a tienda in NC are paisanos, countrymen and women of Mexico living in the US.
