Asheville Gallery of Art in Asheville, NC, Features Works by Christine Siegfried
The Asheville Gallery of Art in Asheville, NC, will present an exhibit of works by Asheville artist, Christine Siegfried through Sept. 30, 2005.
Siegfried has developed a unique medium to create her mostly abstract paintings. Her utilization of pastel colors on a Gesso ground gives them a marvelous depth of color.
Siegfried began her art career in Chicago where she exhibited in a number of area galleries as well as the rental and sales exhibit gallery of the Chicago Art Institute. A move to the East Coast put her in association with the Fine Arts Society of lower New York State, and with Art Exchange, Inc., where she exhibited at the Susquehanna Gallery in Dale, PA. In 1996 she moved to Asheville.
