Karpeles Manuscript Museum in Charleston, SC, Offers Works by Toney Joseph Nesbitt
The Karpeles Manuscript Museum in Charleston,
SC, is presenting the exhibit, Art From The Heart, featuring
recent works by "Toney" Joseph Nesbitt Jr., on view
through Oct. 1, 2005.
Although largely self-taught, Nesbitt has drawn and painted for
almost his entire life and has created works in colored pencil,
acrylic, watercolors, tempera, and wood. This exhibit showcases
his drawings, paintings, and wood carvings depicting wild animal
life, lowcountry scenes, and figuratives.
