Patina on the Alley in Seneca, SC, Features Works by Ernie and DeDe Norungolo
Patina on the Alley in Historic Downtown Seneca, SC will present an exhibition entitled, 2 Peas in a Pod, with award-winning mother/daughter artists, Ernie and DeDe Norungolo. The exhibit will open Sept. 16 and continue through Nov. 11, 2005.

The exhibit will feature watercolors, oils, photography, and a variety of original digital art pieces by Mrs. Norungolo, while Ms. Norungolo will display 35MM and digital photography with images of our Upstate and Northeast Tennessee. While they share a love of the world around them, the duo finds themselves more like "two peas in a pod" than expected when it comes to actually creating art.
Mrs. Norungolo, a native of Six Mile, SC, now resides in Seneca. Until last year, Ms. Norungolo resided in Northeast Tennessee where her work was featured as part of three collections at Nelson Fine Art Center, Johnson City, TN.
Most recently Mrs. Norungolo, a member of the Blue Ridge Arts Council (BRAC) in Seneca, received Honorable Mention in the Greenwood Festival of Flowers photography competition for her piece, Pawley's Cathedral. Her paintings can be seen at Whimzies in Greenville, SC.
The younger Norungolo, also a member of BRAC,
is a past recipient of the 2005 Anderson Arts Council's Jodi Putnam
Merit Award for Newry, a photography merit award from the
Belton Arts Center's 2004 Juried Show for At Last, and
an Honorable Mention with Keep Oconee Beautiful Association for
Keowee Bliss. Several of her photographs were featured
in the West End Darkroom, downtown Greenville, during the month
of June.
