Asheville Gallery of Art in Asheville, NC, Features Works by Paul Koenen
The Asheville Gallery of Art in Asheville,
NC, is featuring works by Saluda, NC, watercolor artist, Paul
Koenen, from Sept. 1 - 30, 2006.
Koenen draws upon a background of growing up in the hill country of Western Kentucky, and for nearly twenty years now on Warrior Mountain in Polk County, NC, for his love of landscape, rural settings and use of nature for elements of design. He studied art at Western Kentucky University and the American Academy of Art in Chicago.
In addition to his painting, Koenen has worked in the art field as an advertising artist, art director, director of marketing communications and watercolor instructor.
Asheville Gallery of Art, a co-op gallery representing 30 regional artists in Asheville's longest running art gallery.
