USC Upstate in Spartanburg, SC, Features Works by Enid Williams
The University Gallery at the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, SC, is presenting an exhibit of works by Enid Williams, on view through Sept. 22, 2006. The exhibit includes recent paintings that seek to reconcile formal painterly concerns with a personal interest in stylized imagery derived from pop cultural references.
Williams received her MFA from Kent State University and currently teaches painting and design at Greenville Technical College in Greer, SC.
The University Gallery
showcases regional and national artists and sponsors the outdoor
sculpture exhibits.
