BRAVO Interior Designs in Tryon, NC, Features Works by Four Artists

BRAVO Interior Designs in Tryon, NC, will be presenting an exhibit of works by Phillip Dusenbury, Susan Johann, Penny Kessler and Terry MacMillan, on view from Sept. 8 through Oct. 12, 2007. The exhibit will feature fine sculpture, photographs, and paintings by four local artists.

Phillip Dusenbury is a well-known sculptor whose work exhibits subtle humor and leaves the viewer wanting to see more. His work is in collections all over the country, and it is rare to walk into a home in Tryon without encountering a wonderful representation of a type of person we all know.

Susan Johann is the photographer. Her works include many portraits, celebrity portraits, and beautiful and thoughtful photographs of nature and flowers. She is a new Tryonite, hailing from the New York City area.

Penny Kessler's paintings, in pastel and oil are primarily representational. She likes to "capture the moment" of interaction among people or the reactions of individuals to situations we all experience.

Terry MacMillan studied art in the San Francisco area and has returned to the mountains to be closer to her family. She is an accomplished portraitist and still life artist and paints in both acrylic and oils.

The show is sure to include something to please and engage every viewer. And  the unique setting of Bravo Design Interiors will showcase the works as they might appear in one's home, office, or business.
