Fine Art Prints by Jim Innes Featured at Print Studio South in Charleston

Print Studio South, located in Charleston, SC, is pleased to announce a one-man show by South Carolina printmaker, Jim Innes. Opening on Dec. 3 and continuing through Jan. 31, 2000, the twenty-piece show consists of etchings, lithographs, and monotypes.

Innes, Professor Emeritus, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, works in the revolutionary method of waterless lithography, a new medium he wishes to bring to the attention of the public.

In addition to the waterless lithographs, the show includes a set of seven etchings depicting the adventures of the San Miguel Communion Girls-- anything but a pious group -- they are armed with a taste for levitation and magical travel.

Innes' work is held by the following museums: Canton Art Institute, Westmoreland County Museum, Washington County Art Museum, Pittsburgh Plate Glass Collection, Kansas City Art Institute, University of Kansas Museum, the Museum of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Ohio State University, University of Cincinnati, Arizona State University, as well as private collections in the United States and Europe.
