The April 2011 issue of Carolina Arts is up on our website at (www.carolinaarts.com) – all 71 pages of it. We had over 45,000 downloads of the March 2011 issue, so you folks will have to work very hard to break that record this month. But, spreading the link around to your e-mail lists and posting it on your Facebook page is what it will take. Once people see all that is going on in the visual art community of the Carolinas they will spread it around to their lists and on their Facebook page.
Of special interest this month is a batch of articles about exhibits taking place in North Carolina in an area we are calling – East of I-95 – in cities like Smithfield, Kinston, Rocky Mount, and Wilson. We don’t hear much about what’s going on there that often. We also have gallery listings for exhibits in Greenville, Tarboro, Washington, Jacksonville, New Bern, Manteo, and Wilmington.
