The September 2019 Issue of “Carolina Arts” is Now Ready to Download

919carolinaarts-coverLaunching early this month – for many reasons – the holiday, the pending doom off the coastal waters, and while we have power.

The September 2019 issue of “Carolina Arts” is up on our website at (http://www.carolinaarts.com/919/919carolinaarts.html) – all 75 pages of it.

On our cover this month is “Trio” by William M. Halsey. It’s not part of any exhibit, but it’s at Corrigan Gallery LLC in downtown Charleston, SC, up for sale again in the secondary market. Someone is selling off some works they have had and enjoyed for years, so someone new can buy it and enjoy it for a while. I sure wish it was going to be me. It’s part of a trifecta for the Halsey family we have in this issue. William has work on the cover, we have an ad for an exhibit by Corrie McCallum, William’s wife, at Corrigan Gallery LLC on Page 9, with an article on Pages 10 & 11, and on Page 37, their son, David Halsey has work in an exhibit at Francis Marion University in Florence, SC. Now how many times do you think something like that has happened? Never.

So download that PDF and dig in – it makes for good reading and shows that you have lots of opportunities to enjoy the visual arts in the Carolinas. And, don’t forget to find a way to thank our advertisers – they make this publication possible.

And help us spread this issue around by sending this link to your friends.

Don’t forget that the deadline for our October 2019 issue will be September 24 at 5pm.

Thanks – Tom and Linda Starland
