Fine Art in Charleston, SC, Offers Works by Jennifer Smith Rogers
Smith-Killian Fine Art in Charleston, SC, will present the exhibit, Natural and Notable, featuring new works by Jennifer Smith Rogers, on view from Oct. 1 - 15, 2010.
As part of a reputable family of artists, Rogers has established herself as a fixture of the Charleston art scene. The paintings in this show depict two facets of the world surrounding her: the primitive, natural Lowcountry landscapes and the more formal, notable architecture that is characteristic of her native city. Most well-known for her paintings of Charleston's canopy of rooftops, iconic street scenes, and historic churches, Rogers is equally adept at depicting the area's alluring beaches, meandering creeks, and serene marsh scenes.
Smith-Killian Fine Art is a member of the Charleston Fine Art Dealers' Association and the French Quarter Gallery Association.
