NC, Features Works by Pat Calderone
The UNC Asheville's Blowers Gallery in Asheville, NC, will present, Dance of the Spirit, featuring acrylics and charcoa paintings by Pat Calderone, on view from Oct. 1 - 30, 2010.
Calderone, who studied art at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, lives near Rabun Bald, the second highest mountain in Georgia. She says her work is inspired by the Cherokee people and animals that used to inhabit that land. Calderone has exhibited at Summit One gallery in Highlands, NC, the Globe Gallery in Clayton, GA, and the Blue Eyed Buffalo gallery in Dillard, GA.
