Ashe Arts Center in West Jefferson, NC, Features Annual Holiday Exhibitions
To celebrate the joy of the season, the Ashe Arts Center in downtown West Jefferson, NC, presents the winter exhibit, All Things Bright and Beautiful. The exhibit which will be on view from Nov. 24 - Dec. 31, features paintings, photography and other items which celebrate the splendor of the season. Artists have created visions of holiday spirit and warmth. This exhibit also includes the sixth annual Festival of Trees and Wreaths with beautifully decorated trees, wreaths and table settings created by local artists, organizations and businesses. The Arts Council's popular, handcrafted ornament tree will include creations by local artists in paper, clay, fibers, wood and more, just waiting to be added to your seasonal collection.
A holiday open house
at the Ashe Arts Center will be on Sat., Dec. 6, 2003, from 10am-4pm.
A special "Twelve Gifts of Christmas" raffle will be
on sale throughout the day with the drawing in the afternoon.
Come celebrate the holidays in Ashe County with an exhibt of All
Things Bright and Beautiful.
