Asheville Gallery of Art in Asheville, NC, Features Works by Paul Koenen
Asheville Gallery of Art in Asheville, NC, is featuring
the works of Saluda, NC, artist Paul Koenen through Nov. 29, 2003.
Koenen studied Art at Western Kentucky University and the American Academy of Art in Chicago. After a career in Advertising Art in Chicago, he moved to Saluda in 1987 to pursue painting full-time, teaching an occasional watercolor class or workshop.
This exhibit, titled Within Walking Distance, consist of watercolor paintings executed on location, or inspired by scenes, within walking distance of his studio on Warrior Mountain, near Saluda.
