Brevard, NC, Holiday Home Tour Takes Place Dec. 13, 2003
The Transylvania County Arts Council invites one and all to one of its most popular fund-raisers. Mark your calendar for 10am-4pm, Sat., Dec. 13, 2003, and get your tickets quickly for the ninth annual Holiday Tour of Homes in Brevard, NC.
Sponsoring the popular event are two Brevard businesses: Fisher Realty and Jerome & Summey Insurance Agency.
Tickets at $20 are available starting Nov.15 at the Community Arts Center, 321 South Caldwell Street, three blocks south of the Falls Theater in Brevard, NC, or at Number 7 Arts, 7 East Main Street, Brevard.
A limited number of tickets will be available for out-of-town visitors Dec. 13 at 9:30am at the Arts Center. Reserve by calling 828/884-2787.
Instead of six homes, this year for the same cost you get a bonus of two extra, and yet your driving time will be shorter. You will tour three condos and one new home in Straus Park, two homes in Connestee Falls and two in Windover Farms.
Collections inside the homes include Father Christmas figures, African sculpture and curios, local paintings, antique furniture and signed decoys. Decorating the lawn in front of the Eldridge condo are two life-size bronze deer on loan from Bound's Cave, 337 Highway 64 East, Cashiers NC 28717.
On the tour day, refreshments will be served at 321 S. Caldwell Street while you browse a multitude of gift ideas at its annual Holiday Show and Sale. The sale continues through Dec. 19, 2003.
