Gallery in Columbia, SC, Features Works by Nikolai Oskolkov

Art Gallery in Columbia, SC, will present the exhibit, Laughter
in the Sky, featuring works by Nikolai Oskolkov, on view from
Nov. 6 - 30, 2009.
Russian born Nikolai Oskolkov exhibits a new body of paintings inspired by "the sky filled with the laughter of people enjoying life and the many vibrations of the outdoors." The exhibit features the Blue Ridge Mountains and scenes of South Carolina and Jamaica.
Since graduating from the University of South Carolina in 2006, Oskolkov has made a living as a visual artist and musician based in Columbia, SC. An extensive traveler, he believes in the "divine ambiance of our planet," and how "surroundings and circumstances contribute to the positive development of an individual."
