at Woolworth Walk in Asheville, NC, Features Works by Lisa Walraven
The F.W. Front Gallery at Woolworth Walk in Asheville, NC, is presenting the exhibit, Birds!, featuring paintings by Lisa Walraven, on view through Jan. 30, 2010.
Walraven specializes in bird and nature art inspired from her past work as a wildlife technician. She has said about the link from her past occupation to her art work that "seeing each detail in the hand made me realize how individual each bird was, and I immediately began depicting bold portraits of birds because I wanted everyone to see the birds as individuals."
